Unique Weekend Breaks in Scotland, UK

scotlandWeekend Breaks in Scotland
Scotland has much to offer. Cities such as Edinburgh and Glasgow are full of culture and Scotland offers activity holidays including golf courses from St. Andrews to fishing and adventure. Try local delcacies such as haggis and whiskey for a memorable experience.

The highlands of the Scotland provide a cool alternative to major cities of the UK, with all the high class activities on your doorstep. The highlands of the Scotland are quickly becoming a popular destination for the stag party as these cities particularly Edinburgh and Glasgow become more expensive.

The highlands of Scotland area, particularly the Perth Fort William, Crieff, Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Aviemore and Perth Fort William are more fascinating places that are packed with extreme sports such as white water rafting and the cliff jumping or for the much leisurely pace play a round of the golf or shoot clay pigeons.

Areas of Scotland - Aberfeldy

This little town itself is a breath of the fresh air with small businesses and an astonishingly large number of restaurants and pubs. Whether you and your group wish to grab few great foods and the few pints and even drunk till the last standing you can find it all here. Aberfeldy is best for activities with zorbin Paintballing, 4x4, clay pigeon shooting, Mini highland games, quad biking, rafting and many more. Cliff jumping, cannoying, at just 90 minutes from Edinburgh you will not ask for more for the fantastic weekend.

Aberfeldy has restaurants in large number that are happy enough to accommodate the groups of both the hens and the stags with the best thing being the very good Indian at one corner of the town much close to that accommodation that we have.

Pitlochry Stag Weekends & Hen Weekends

Pitlochry has always been the place for gamesmanship and excitement with the modern highland games taking place since 1852. Therefore over the years, this tiny town has developed into a striving centre for visiting tourists. The largest project is a hydro electric dam with a salamon ladder. The interconnecting pipes lets the salamon swim along imitating the sight of climbing ladder.

Set deep inside the heart of the highland mountains, Pitlochry boasts the Queens View as one popular view in the whole of Scotland. The town's own theatre has developed its own reputation over the years bringing some of the best actors down the banks of river Tummel.

Aviemore

Aviemore is located right at the centre of Cairngorms National park where you may stimulate the feeling of exhilaration as well the tranquil peace in one foul swoop. The town has become energised because of the boom not just in tourism but also in extreme sports with activities such as the clay pigeon shooting, kayaking, motor and quad sport, skiing, snow boarding, white water rafting and the highland walking.

There is so much to do in a weekend break in Scotland - the choice is yours to take.
