Most people think of Dublin when visiting Ireland for its music, bars and Guiness but other cities
such as Cork offer true Irish hospitality. Ireland is also famous for its links golf courses on
the coast and you can also catch up on fishing and walking in the fresh Atlantic air.
Dublin is easy to get to and most people travel by air. There are plenty of cheap flights and cheap hotels and bed and breakfast accomodation to make it an inexpensive weekend break.
Dublin is a stunning city located on the River Liffey with pubs, clubs and local music. The main shopping district is located around Grafton Street which has most high street shops and local gifts. Temple Bar has some of the best local nightlife with many traditional pubs and stylish clubs.
The best although most crowded time of the year is to celebrate St Patrick's day on March 17th each year where the city comes alive for a whole week with dance, exhibitions and a festival parade through the streets. Dublin also hosts many sporting events from rugby to football.
Best to take many hangover cures as you'll be partying all night and this makes Dublin a popular hen and stage party city for a weekend you'll never forget.
